Sabahanfood.com is dedicated to all food lovers and taste bugs worldwide!
It begins here in Sabah at my beloved land in North Borneo, and
to be exact it begins from my kitchen where I play and creates food for my family and friends.
I’m not a certified chef and I don’t have any formal culinary education or training. It all began from my deep interest in food and especially the ‘moment of enjoying every bite of it.’ Yummy! I believe it is called passion.
I wanted to have boundaryless area of sharing on my food thoughts and food around my country, with every other food lovers bug out there.
If you love food in any way – making it yourself or eating out, then you are most welcome here. Food is home to my home and I welcome everyone into it.
Cheers!
My name is Val. I’m a husband to a lovely wife and a father to two lovely princess I named Danisa Angel @ cica and Lady Melania @ memel, and Thank God we are expecting another baby by middle 2009 (yups, my wife is pregnant ^.^”).
I’m from Tambunan valley, the birth place of sambal tuhau, land of 1st class gingers and paddy, and home to Sabah’s very own Tom Jones – the late John Gaisah!
I’m an inspired fan of Asian Food Channel and my favorites among all are:
#License to Grill
#Jamie Oliver
#Lovely Nigella
#Chef at Home with Mr. Smith
#Martin Yan’s China
#From garden to the kitchen by Malaysian famous Chef Wan.
#Series of Singaporean program such as Coffee Talks,
Sweets for my Sweet and Makan King,
#Last but not least - Restaurant makeover!
I enjoy the creation of food as much as I love to share it with others.
Good food when shared is a very good food with extra blessing!
